Can you see my wings? Can you hear my song? For joyous you have made my soul, and given me things I have never known before.
Can you feel my heart? Can you taste my love? For this peice of you has made me whole, and shown me a reason to keep living for.
So let me hold you, and close your eyes. As you drift asleep, I promise you this; I will be here when you wake once more.

I gaze into you as I dance on the edge of awakeness and sleep-

Dissect my deepest thoughts... I can feel your heart and your love and drilling into my skull.
Pierce my chest and finger the incision. Can you feel.... my heart as well?
I open my eyes wide as I gaze into you. I am bruised from fighting angles and feasting upon their sharp wings. I bleed internally from swallowing razor sharp feathers.
Drowning in my own body-in my own blood-in my own self loathing.
I breathe-you-in. I gaze into you as you gaze into me. your wings are much different then the ones I am used to.
I taste you're love with every kiss as my heart begins to heal.
I know my place in this world. Your arms are my sanctuary. Protect me for my angels... aren't angels.
You gaze into me and see so much life... as there is no death in this place. Take me away from here and we'll find somewhere to be alone... you're all I need.
I gaze into you as everything else starts to blur ... as I close my eyes you are still vivid and in full color. I collapse into sleep as you run your fingers through my hair.
I can still taste you as I sleep deeply and in full... for I know you'll be there when i'm awake.
